To help you prepare for your visit to Manchester Central and whilst onsite, we’ve put together some handy information:

 

Disabled access

Manchester Central is designed for maximum accessibility. Most of the exhibition space is on the ground floor/street level and can be easily accessed via the main entrance. If you have any questions about the venue, email accessibility or find out more here.

 

Hearing Loops

Each theatre at NRB will be fitted with a hearing loop system. This will ensure all session content is accessible to anyone who uses hearing aids.

 

Cloakroom

The cloakroom’s located on the right hand side on the central foyer at the venue. Please note Manchester Central are unable to store any items overnight.

 

Wi-Fi

Manchester Central is fully wireless enabled.

 

Quiet Room

Available to anyone who needs time to decompress away from the show floor. Speak to the concierge at the Reception Desk for guidance.

Food

There is a wide range of food available at the venue and in the area. Find the venue’s list of recommendations here.

Water Stations

Instead of buying plastic water bottles, bring your own reusable water bottle and fill up at the water filling stations found within Manchester Central and the central foyer.

 

Toilets

Gender neutral toilets are located at the back right of the event. Baby changing facilities are also available.

NRB is a trade only event and is not open to the general public. Admission is restricted to professional persons working in the industry. Proof of trade status may be requested.

No, students are not permitted to attend.

Children under 18 will not be admitted to the event without prior agreement between the carer and the organisers. The exhibition is a place of business, and the presence of children is not encouraged. There are a number of health and safety issues to consider including large crowds, and the sampling of alcohol. Please bear this in mind when thinking about bringing a small child to the venue. Children under 2 must be in a pram, pushchair or baby carrier. If you do not have one of these items, you unfortunately will not be allowed into the show. When arriving at the venue, you will be asked to make your way to the organisers office where you, as the child’s guardian, will have to sign a waiver that states you understand the health and safety implications of bringing a child into the show. If you do not wish to sign the waiver, then unfortunately you will not be admitted into the show. There are no creche facilities available. This policy applies to show open hours only, as no children will be allowed into the hall during the build-up and dismantling of the event.

Admission to NRB is free to visitors who register online in advance. From 9.30am on Tuesday 9th March, a £20 door fee will apply to both online and onsite registrations.

When you register you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to your badge as a PDF. Simply print it and bring it along. We’ll give you a lanyard when you get there. Your badge gives you entry on both days.

As long as you have registered you will be able to collect your badge onsite. Just ask one of the staff in the registration area and they will assist you. We will also send a badge reminder email a week before the show to all those registered to ensure they have their badge handy.

Your badge will be valid on both days of the show.

No, the only people permitted to sell at NRB are the exhibitors.
